We are a small business that sells our products online through our website. We are wanting to create a community of people that promote our business/products on their blogs, social media, YouTube etc. by offering their followers a unique discount on our products and in return we will give them 10% of the sales that they brought in. We are just wanting to know how to do this legally under Commercial Law.

What forms/contracts etc. need to be exchanged, if any? Do these people technically become employees of ours? Absolutely any help would be very much appreciated.

Thank you in advance!

You can basically set up whatever arrangement with them you like, then set it out in an affiliate agreement which establishes contractual terms regarding how commissions are calculated, how they are paid, the obligations of each party to the agreement, termination procedures and privacy issues.

There are websites where you can even buy stock standard forms like this where you just fill in the blanks and self customise.
