My mother recently passed away and has left her home to my self and my two sister, I currently reside in the home and have for the last 6 years.
Now that the property has been passed to all our names and we are co owners, can another do owner who doesn't live at the property or in Australia, ask for the co owner who does reside in the property for rent? The house is being put on the market for sale.

Thank, any help would be apprieciate

Depends on the terms in the will. If the will is silent, then after the property has transferred to your names, yes. I'm unsure if rent is payable while the property is still in your mother's name but being administered by the executors.
