If a neighbour's garage brick wall is built on the boundary, cannot be access by them and can only be seen on our side of the property by us, can we paint this wall a colour of our choice? The neighbour left this wall natural bricks but was happy for us to render it at our costs but now insists to take ownership and paint it the colour of his choice which is horrendous. Do we need to look at this wall that is only visible by us and cringe at his colour? He pretty much wants it all his way or the highway. I would love to show him the highway and paint it our neutral colour that matches with everything on our side. Can we also grow a creeping plant up on the wall to cover the entire wall so we don't see any paint, but only lovely flowering foliage?

How is he going to paint the wall without entering onto your property?

I'd be telling the neighbour to back off as you have an existing agreement and you're going to hold him to that agreement.
