I started a new job a month ago. Now I have received no paperwork and haven't been paid yet.

It states on every website I checked that the base wage is $28 an hour. Now after not being paid for a month, I am told my hourly rate is $23. Is the base rate the minimum amount they should be paying me?

I also checked on a pay calculator as the job was advertised as casual. I start work at 6pm and finish at 8.30pm at night Monday to Friday and it stated minimum of $26.75 for that shift. Anyone have any knowledge if I'm correct or am being ripped off?

Even if I receive my paperwork and it is part time, same thing - minimum wages should be $24.58

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
