I have a court case coming up but it's not for a while. In the interim I wish to change from being represented to self-represented so that I may deal with the other party's lawyers directly.

The case has been submitted to the federal circuit court of australia.

What form do I / or my current lawyers need to complete?

Thanks.

Hey,

Your lawyer would file a "Notice of intent to withdraw" followed by a "Notice or withdrawal" seven days later.

You would file a "Notice of address for service"

Email all parties (Ex's lawyer / ICL) include a copy of the NOAFS and let them know that you are now self representing and you would like all correspondence sent to this email.

I am considering the same, self-representing. I am a non-English speaker and my ex is a native ungirlish speaker; he is very sneaky and self-represented. he made a good story but my lawyer and the judge could clearly see that he was lying. His unreasonable conduct costs me a lot of money. I am considering the self-representing; I know it is a hard journey, but I have to finish it. I have been in the court three or four times, I could feel the energy there was very different, I observed the parties throwing insulting words, anger, frustration towards each other, it is sad to see so many love relationships turned out to disaster. I keep children out of this disaster; they love their mom, and their dad. Be honest, logical and consistent with your affidavit and what you say in front of the judge.
