Hi,

The People's Council at my work sent out some emails, booking in photo sessions for all the staff in relation to the creation of a Photo Board on all levels of the building. I do not want my photo taken and I do not want my photo displayed.

There is no mention about photos in my employment contract and I work in IT, not in a customer-facing role. As far as I am concerned, a photo of me is classified as personal data that should fall under my right to a private life.

My question is: can they make me consent?

Thank you!
