hello there
I have been parked at the parking lot. I've been reversing and hit the car that was not parked correctly. By that I mean it was parked not in the actual "lots" but next to them on the pathway, which means this car was not supposed to be there. Is it still my fault for the accident or is it 50/50?
Thank you

Hi Valentin,
I would suggest that because the other vehicle was stationary the would wear the majority of the fault. that said if the parked so as to make reversing difficult they may also have some of the fault. You could report the other vehicle to the parking lot owner and see if they have any video footage to help your case. In the absence of all the details I still feel you will hold the majority of the fault, but it might be worth taking all the details to a lawyer for advice.
