I work for WA Health and resigned from my position on the 2nd January 2023. I gave notice up until 26 January which was a requirement in my contract. The manager came back to me on 11 January and said they've accepted my resignation, effective as of close of business Friday 13 January 2023. As this is earlier than the date I gave notice until I'm wondering what my options are. Do they have to pay me up until 26 January? In the contract it does state that if an employer wants to terminate my employment then they have to pay me for 4 weeks in lieu of the notice period.
Any help here wold be greatly appreciated before I go back to the employer.
