After 4 months without a fence, I’m at a loss.
I contacted every department incl council and nobody can give me advise.
My neighbour has an 8 meter long concrete pad 400 mm high right up to the fence line. The fencing contractor needs 300 mm for fence post footings, 150 mm on my side and 150 mm on neighbours side. The neighbour refuses to reduce his concrete pad and expects me to have the fence on my land.
I’m told if I agree to this it could have major legal implications later on, so I won’t.
Anybody know whether there is a law forcing him to reduce the concrete pad ?
