My ex-partner has some banking details that I need for my business. I have verbally pleaded, sent emails and sms, and have been ignored. I sent a letter that was returned to me unopened. What can I do?

Short of a court order, or permission from the account holder, nothing.

So I send a court order to my ex and it comes back unopened I give the court order to the bank, or do I send the court order to the bank first? Sorry but I'm not sure who or what the court order would do. Thanks for helping.

You'd have to make an application to a court to prove you have a legal right to access the information. That's not an easy process or one that you should probably be undertaking on your own. You'd need to carefully consider what legal basis you have to obtain the information, find the right court to be able to grant you such an order, convince the court of your right, and probably have the application contested by your ex-partner.
