I am considering taking my speeding fines to court. I would like to know, will there be any extra costs on a fine imposed? What things will usually result in it costing more (besides a lawyer)?

There are court costs, and the penalty imposed by the Magistrate could be more than the original fine.

Or the fine could be lower and no court costs.

Justice is sometimes like a lottery.
