If one parent has xustcus of a child ,who grants visitation , is it up to both parents what days and times visitation occur, does the visits have to be supervised or it is again between the parents , also with visitation are sleep overs allowed

Ideally these things should be agreed upon by both parents... If communication is difficult, then there are professional accredited mediation organisations that can help... Relationships Australia is one such organisation.

As a very basic guide.. The family courts view is that it is THE CHILD'S right to develop and maintain a meaningful relationship with both parents AND that is in their best interests.. The amount of time spent with each parent should be sufficient to achieve that aim..

Can you tell us what age the child is? How far apart do the parents live?
