i have a colleague (Mozambican) who wants to visit Australia for tourism with their Australian partner.
Their concern is that she had a tourist visa refused for the UK previously, which was hastily submitted to try and visit her partner while he was there on business travel. The refusal was based on insufficient evidence of funds.
She wants to do the application online, and the online form asks if a visa has ever been refused anywhere else (interestingly the paper form only asks in relation to Australia).
If she submits electronically, answers Yes and provides a brief explanation, is this likely to significantly compromise or delay this application?
They are planning to travel only for a month to visit family, XMas holidays and her partner has adequate savings/income to support.
Thanks in advance for the advice
