Hi I am married to an Austrian citizen and I am on my partner visa 820 and have put in my application for the 801. We applied for this July 2016 and our case hasn't even been assigned yet and we have been given zero correspondence this year.
My husband I really want to spend some time living in the US near my family. However, we would still like the option of returning to Australia together in the future.
My question is
Can we go ahead and move overseas if my partner 801 is still processung- I saw online that this can take a long time. I do know there are not travel restrictions for this stage but want to clarify what the requirements are before we leave.
