Can I fight a speeding ticket if the wrong car is on the notice. We are talking completely different make and colour.

I doubt it if the rego's correct.

You’ve got nothing then. These minor mistakes occur fairly frequently and are inconsequential. You’re better off paying the fine and getting on with it.

If they used registration records to issue the ticket, there should be no excuse for not having all the information correct.
I'd be asking "What else have you gotten wrong?" and lodge a formal objection.

Best to just throw it back in their face when that happens and see if they withdraw it. I would argue that having the correct registration is not enough and getting the make and colour of the car wrong is inexcusable.
