We sold a beauty salon business and the money has been paid. However, the new owner does not want to sign the lease, answer the phone, answer the messages or emails.

What can we do?

Does the contract of sale of business state that the lease will be assigned or transferred to the purchaser, and that the purchaser agrees to sign any documentation to give effect to the contract terms?

Clarify for me - if the deal is done, and the money paid,
what makes this your problem?

There is an invoice but no other contracts. I am liable to pay the lease until she signs a new lease, or my lease will expire,

Did you not include taking over the lease as a term of the sale of the business?

No, the invoice is nothing more than the equipment and products. However, it looks like she will finally sign the lease.

Thank you very much for your help.
