Hi,

I have a 4-year-old brother who I have not seen since he was 10 months old due to separation with my father and his mother. I have tried to arrange visitation but never receive a message back. His mother was abusive before falling pregnant with him. What can I do in family court for visitation rights?

How old are you? Are you living with your father? And what does your father think about not seeing his son?

I'm 18, I don't live with my father and hardly see him due to his actions. My father says that he wants to see his son but has done nothing to see him

You can apply for court orders seeking time with your brother.

First try asking your local community legal centre if they can help you.

Not yet.

That is something to ask at the community legal centre. It may not be relevant but without the whole history I'd not like to comment.
