Hi everyone,
My sister who is 22 years old has been found shoplifting at woolies. She paid for all the items except one worth 17$. And was caught at the exit by the security. They made her sign some paperwork which she dint read.
And scared that they will trace her, she gave them wrong Date of Birth and Phone number. They jotted the name from the debit card. She has been warned not to enter the store else they will call police.
Is there any chance they will trace her via the card used for transaction ? Or will they find out if she uses woolies again but uses cash and never shoplifts ? There are not much stores around we must use woolies. What will be the consequences now ?
Can we still use the same card but another person ?

She was stupid but she is regretful and learnt a lesson now..
