Hi,

I came to Australia on student visa in 2013. I fell in love with my ex-wife and we got married in 2015. She is an Australian citizen. We have a kid now. My daughter is a year and a half old. I applied for my spouse visa in 2016 January.

After year of living together, we got separated and my application for spouse visa is still there and the file hasn't been opened yet. I'm on bridging visa since I applied for spouse visa. My student visa ends in August 2018. Can anyone please tell me that am I still gonna get the Permanent Residency? Will they just ask me to leave the country separating me from my daughter?

Discontinued my studies without completing as I had a kid to look after. Need help please.
