I am a self represented claimant in a retaining wall dispute which is set to go to trial in the magistrates Court.
The defendants expert witness has a monumental conflict of interest in that he is the brother - in - law of the defendant, acts as the defendants representative along with a lawyer and has acted as a private investigator searching for dirt on myself . All of which I understand is contrary to the expert witness code of conduct.
Is there any way I can object to this person attending as an expert witness at the trial?
