Our mother has had the Public Guardian appointed (Interim Order) for accommodation, medical decisions and services, this happened due to her children applying for guardianship as our father was removed as EPO for elder abuse. We called the hospital to speak with mum and the hospital informed us our parents were being placed in a nursing facility away from their home town.
1. How does the man accused of abuse get to enter a facility with her?
2. How can this be approved without even telling her family?
3. How can it be possible the nursing facility know nothing of her guardian appointment or DVO on our father.

We as her family who love her and whom she loves have been treated like we don't matter, when we were the ones trying to protect her and dad has seemed to get away with exactly what he wanted, isolating us from mum and continuing his emotional, controlling and mental abuse. I have called and emailed the Public Guardian on many occasions and had no return call or email.
Very disillusioned and dissappointed with the whole process.
