Under Property Law, should landlord advise if they have placed Ratsak outside if you have pets?

We signed a pet contract and paid a pet bond.

Ratsak was in paper packets concealed enough not to see without knowing you were looking for it, but easily accessible by animals.

Yes. Is your pet OK?

He passed away as a result. We swept the area prior, but it was concealed in the sand under the house which was not fenced off. We fenced off so he wouldn't get underneath when we arrived, but were not aware any was there or that he had already gotten some. It was not in a bait box, but paper packets.

Not sure what you now want. Loved pets are irreplaceable. Sorry for your loss.

I don't want anything from them. I guess I want to know if I have any place to ask them to make notifying owners of rat bait an official part of the written pet bond and contract.

Yes, you can. Agreements can always be negotiated by the parties.
