Hi, we have recently purchased a unit, and my wife and I almost have equal shares, though she would borrow money from a bank, and the bank would credit her only if she doesn't have a dependent or spouse.

My concern is that the title will only be in her name. Where will I be if she decides I can't live there after all? All my money will be lost as I understand it. I don't know if property law would protect my share if it goes pear shaped.

    Cheers
