My Husband died suddenly, exactly 2 weeks after being diagnosed, I can only find a copy of his will naming me as sole beneficiary, this will was made 25+ years ago
How do I go about obtaining the original will?
All financial institutions I have dealt with so far have accepted Certified Copy Medical Certificate Cause of Death or are waiting for official Death Certificate, however his employer is asking for Probate before they will release funds
I have never had to deal with anything like this before, any help and or advice would be appreciated

Thank you

There is no easy answer about the original will. Did your husband have a solicitor who might have it? Does the will have any indication of who drew it up?
You might need to see a solicitor for advice about this if the employer wont budge.
