NSW Probate - How Long Does Transmission Application Take?

Hi

I've recently purchased a property and the owner unfortunately passed away before settlements. The owner's beneficiaries received their probate around middle of March and are currently waiting for transmission of the property so settlement can occur.

I'm just wondering how long does a transmission of property usually take?

Hi,

It sounds like the beneficiaries have done all the right things. I wish I could tell you exactly how long it will be but it is all reliant on when the Registrar-General receives and processes the transmission of property form. I wouldn't have thought it would be more that a couple of months. It might be something that a call to the office of the Registrar-General might be able to answer.
