My partner is currently in prison he has been charged with-
Cutting open a lock box (district court)
Unlicensed ammunition (magistrates court)
Burglary (magistrates court)
Possession of illegal firearms (magistrates court)
What sentence is he likely to get???

Hi Chonny,
I'm sorry this is too broad. If your partner has prior convictions it will definitely influence the outcome. Another example of how broad the question is, burglary on its own can have a penalty of between 14 and 20 years imprisonment. So if your partner was in possession of the illegal firearms during the burglary then it can draw a penalty of 20 years imprisonment. I think its safe to say that your partner should expect a reasonable amount of prison time.
