If a peace and good behaviour order is referred to mediation on the "mention" day under the instructions of a magistrate, is it temporarily still in effect until after the mediation is complete or is it automatically cancelled after mention?

Will the mediation be restricted to the incident surrounding the complaint or can any past incidents be included in the discussion process?
