NSW One year bankruptcy 2019

I was told one year bankruptcy was going to be introduced this year.
Does anyone have any information about when this legislation will come into effect

This isn't legislation. It's a bill which has been languishing in the Senate for a while and hasn't gone anywhere in over a year. If and when it gets resurrected is going to depend on who wins the federal election, what their majority is in both houses, and what their agenda is. There was general support from the Senate investigation committee, but no one's pushed it. Either it's not a big issue, or the government didn't think it had the numbers to get it through.

In other words: no idea at the moment.
