My defacto has been absent from the property since August 2017,despite my request to have her personal belongings collected, she has failed to do so.
What options do i have available now?

Tell her if she doesn't collect them within seven days, you'll be taking them to Lifeline.

Send a letter by registered post saying she has x days (between 30 and 90) to remove items. List what you have in the letter in case of a dispute later. Photos are a good optional extra. The more valuable the items, the larger the items, the longer the period should be.

If you do not follow a procedure like this she may elect to sue you for the cost of her property, so this is really about protecting yourself from a vengeful ex.
