I was approved for a grant of aid. It was cancelled before I spoke to my new lawyer at all. This cancellation happened without any prior warning so there was no fair hearing. The only reason given after it was cancelled was that I failed to follow reasonable advice from my lawyer. This seems hard for me to do when I didn't get to speak/meet with him.

I would like to bring this up for a consideration of procedural fairness but I can't find any information online for how to proceed.

If you failed to respond to requests or failed to turn up for an interview then they will likely have afforded you procedural fairness.
