I gave mum my daughters and made no family court orders or consent orders. I have previous parenting orders stating I have custody of children.

How do I get them back?

If you have previous parenting orders, they remain in effect until the children turn 18.

If your mother is refusing to facilitate the children living with you, you can file for a recovery order through the family court to have them returned to your care. See here for more information: Recovery orders

I haven't had my daughters for 1.5years as I was going through a hard time but now I'm ready to get them back. I'm worried as soon as I ask for them back she will file her own orders (we don't get along). My girls told me they want to live with me again and I'm ready.
