hi, if any experts can please advise,

The neighbour dog is doing dog poo in their b ackyard right next to the fence. Our kitchen, outdoor dining table and clothes drying are right beside this fence.

What can we do about this?

We are not on good terms with the neighbour. They are a tenant. We are in a body corporate townhouse complex. We are in Brisbane.

Is it legal to take photos of the doo poo in their back yard for evidence?

Are their city council laws that can be used?

Animal control is generally dealt with by your local council, under its “local laws”. Check their website under animal management. There is a requirement in the Gold Coast City Council local laws, for example, that animal waste is collected daily and stored in a proper receptacle, and to not allow the animal to be a nuisance. Policing these things is notoriously hard to do, however.
