QLD Naturalisation of Australian Citizenship for Son?

My son was born here in Australia (turns 6 this Dec) & became a NZ citizen by descent 2014 to get a passport to travel (his father is Australian, and is not on birth certificate nor is in contact). Does this mean he will no longer be naturalised as for an Australian citizenship when he turns 10, because of his NZ citizenship by descent?
