Firstly a big shout out to all the people on this site who have given me some excellent advice.

So anyone who knows anything about past posts of mine will know that I'm in a jam.

Long story short.....

We got screwed over by the in laws on a property deal to the tune of many $100's k

Leaving me and the family broke. Yeah boohoo dumb dumb.

So I can afford a lawyer, and am trying to figure out how to bring a case against them based on Part Performance, Unjust Enrichment, Unconscionable Contract and also how what they claim potentially places them into a position of criminal fraud.

That is because they are now claiming we rented and did not declare incomes for 12 years.

And since they just sold the property without telling us I now need to figure out of the declared CGT?

And that is my question, how can I find out if someone paid CGT on a property sale?

Or,

How can I find out if the declared payments received as incomes?

Any help would be appreciated greatly.

Thanks in advance.
