Hi I thought I might start here before going to a lawyer for a consultation - I appreciate I may not have cause. I recently had to put my beloved cat down and opted for private cremation and the return of his ashes to me. The vet mishandled his corpse and he was pretty much thrown out with the trash. I am devastated by this error and the lack of duty of care and negligence to my much loved cat despite my wishes. This hurts more than putting him to peace and I’m really struggling. Do I have any recourse for this negligence beyond the return of money for services not provided. Thanks in advance for any advice.
