Hi,

I am a kiwi, currently overseas, left Australia before the police statement come out, was questioned by the police regarding sex chat with underage
I think I have a police charge (did not sign anything) but recently I found my name appear in Victoria court with (criminal court attendance) that's all

My question is can I go back to New Zealand? If yes, after my entry can Australian police arrest me while I am in NZ?

If there is enough evidence to lay charges, serious charges. There is a great deal of international co-operation between jurisdictions around child porn. If the allegations/charges are serious enough, NZ police could arrest you, or if you are flagged, you could potentially be detained at any airport...

IMO, you should see a criminal lawyer now. Explain the circumstances & seek advice on the best course of action..

I traveled overseas twice and nothing happened at airports
Also my name is not appear on Australian police to international police or Nz police
But I am not about my entry to Nz will it be save or there is an agreement between nz police and Australian police

We here can only go on whatever info you tell us. Sounds like you don't know a lot yourself, so I can only repeat that the charges, if there are any, are potentially serious enough that you should get some good confidential legal opinion NOW...

As far as your entry to NZ. IF there are charges against you in Australia & this comes to the attention of police in NZ for whatever reason, you can be detained by them & an extradition order sought bu Australian authorities to bring you to Australia to face those charges
