I was just wondering if anyone can help me out. I recently gained employment with a licensed supermarket chain as a casual employee. I quickly showed myself to be hard working and gained positions of responsibility quite quickly. I applied for a position as an assistant manager, but my employer decided I'd be better suited to be promoted straight to manager of the licensed department of one of their stores. This may (likely) include making me a nominee on their liquor licence. I have a 2 year old drug driving, reckless driving, and drug possession charge which I pleaded guilty to and lost my licence for 6 months. Does anyone know whether when applying to put me on the liquor license, these past charges may disqualify me, and essentially expose my record to my employer?
