Good afternoon. My question is this My retail unit is part of a strata titled shopping complex . Another unit is joined directly on the rear of my unit. The unit at my rear had a burst water pipe which flooded my unit causing considerable damage. Who is liable

Depends on where the water pipe actually is that burst, and how the strata scheme was set up. If the pipe was in the common property - which could be the interior of the party walls - then the body corporate is liable. If the pipe was in the other owner's lot, then they are.

Either way, claim against insurance and let them sort it out.
