Hi,
I recently purchased a puppy from a NSW registered breeder at the end of May 2020. The pup is now around 5 months old. I’ve recently learnt of a jaw overbite issue that is likely to result in surgical cost to remedy and may potentially have ongoing increased costs associated with the condition for the life of the dog. I’ve been told by fellow dog owners the breeder should have informed me of this issue prior to purchase which was never mentioned. The puppy comes with a 12 month health guarantee (will try to attach a copy). My QU is can the breeder be legally liable for these additional medical costs being inflicted on us?
