A vehicle that had services costing $1200 for last two services, then put in for next service. It was implied when the vehicle was handed in the cost would be similar to the last two services, but upon collection the bill was considerably higher with $800 alone for labour.

Three questions:

1. Am I able to ask for cost breakdown of the labour as the vehicle had some "warranty" work done on it also and I feel that I am being charged for the labour for the warranty work.

2. If there was no quote given at the start, do I have leg to stand on at all?

3. Is there somewhere online that can point to costs of services that is accepted or accurate in the industry?

Thank you in advance.
