Thanks in advance for reading this post.

A quick question.

Is income on consent orders the normal "net income"?

There is no salary sacrifice or negative gearing just income minus normal deductions = net income

Thanks

I thought I should clarify.

The consent orders show my full income prior to any deductions. I do a lot of driving as part of my job and this reduces my income by so $6-7K pa.

So stating my income without this deduction seems to misrepresent my position. Shouldn't my weekly income be my annual taxable income divided by 52?

Thanks

Thanks sammy.

I would have said the same but my wife’s lawyer was adamant that it was my net income prior to any deductions? I don’t think she is trying to scam me, just mistaken.

This doesn’t make sense to me. If I were self-employed, I'm sure it could not be income before expenses were deducted. That would be multiples of my actual income.
