If someone were to leave the state before they were sentenced for charges that will most likely attract a custodial sentence, would a warrant be visible on interstate police checks? Also if this person only had western Australian I.d, would police in another state do an interstate check? And what is the likelihood of getting deported to the state in which the original warrant was issued?
