Hello,

I have recently began gathering documents as my husband and I have decided to live in Australia. I am an Australian citizen and my husband is not. I had my marriage ceremony in December last year. We are living in Bangladesh at the moment. However, my family members were not happy with this marriage so we decided not to include them in the ceremony.

As a majority of my family are citizens of Australia and are living there at the moment, it would be the easiest to just get their statutory declarations to further strengthen our application. However it will not be a possible option for us. We are on the process of gathering all other required documents and this is our only drawback. Would this be a major issue for us under Immigration Law?
