Can a divorced wife of an Italian Australian stay in Italy for longer than a Schengen stay under Immigration Law?

Hi Helen,

My understanding is once someone who is divorced to an EU passport holder they loose any rights they would have had if still married.

Therefore the divorced wife could only stay in Italy for 3 months (unless she had a visa of some sort), as she doesn't have any right to hold an Italian passport.
