IVO served (where the applicant was a police officer) but the family member was the 'AFM- affected family member' is also a practicing lawyer. If the IVO contains provable falsities including incorrect date of births etc., is the statement by the AFM to the police officer under oath? Given lawyers are held to a higher standard due to professional alignment as sworn member of the court, is this a commonality- that even lawyers could perjury themselves on an IVO? Are there any known cases where a lawyer has been charged with perjury for lying on an IVO?

No.

However if the statement is tendered to the court and found to be false there can be consequences.

I'd be writing to the AFM and very politely say the statement they gave contains false information and suggest they may want to fix the information before the matter is heard at court.

Many thanks. Is parental alienation (i.e. coercive training of children to believe and then repeat back 'x is no longer part of the family') a recognizable form of child abuse?

Most likely, but Family law is a whole area unto itself.
