Hello,
At my place of employment it has come to our attention that we have never been paid our meal allowance and the boss has agreed to back pay us but is saying he only has to go back 2 years.
Many of us have been there 10 years plus...
Is the boss right?

The limitation on your claim would be 6 years. In other words, you and your colleagues could claim 6 years back from now. Beyond 6 years would be prevented by the Limitations of Actions Act 1958 (VIC).

If you need assistance contacting your employer to retrieve the debt, let me know.
