Hi,
I have faced physical abuse from my husband. Reported to police about the same.we are under intervention order from court for one year. My husband sponsored me partner visa (BC309 subclass ) last april(2016) it got approved and stage 1 is completed. Now Stage 2 (BC100 subclass)is in processing .Meanwhile the abuse is still continuing. I have decided to end my relation with him.

Im planning to stay seperately from him meanwhile inform the same to centrelink. what else should i be doing to keep my visa status in australia. How long does it take to get PR after i get seperated from him.

If the abuse is continuing, then he may be in breach of the order.
In which case, it may be possible for him to be arrested.
I suggest having a conversation with the Domestic Violence officer at your local police station.

Don't worry so much about the visa angle.
Men like him often claim that they can have your visa cancelled.
That's almost never true.
