I have an estimate for the trial hearing of a family law matter around June. My application includes two things; request for relocation order which is urgently needed to be finalised ASAP and property settlement.
There are lots of things related to the property settlement which makes it difficult and the ex-husband tend to make it as complicated as he can. I recently knew that the sales of the business will not be accurately finalized before next March when the company lodge as well the tax which means minimum bluffing expected.
In this case, can I request to have a trial hearing for the relocation application in June then another separate trial hearing for the financial matter next year? In other words can I deal with it as two separate cases?
