We are set to go to trial in April next year and have been going through a nasty/expensive battle for almost 2 years now. My partner's ex is a piece of work and I'm just concerned that she may try to delay our trial further. Is that possible in family law? And if so, under what grounds can a trial be delayed or postponed?

Thanks.

She can try to delay, but if the court catches wind of the fact that it is delayed for the sake of delaying, the courts won't like it... Those funny men (mostly) with the funny wigs are pretty smart.
