On what family law grounds does a spousal maintenance gets granted does any one know? I was only married for 6 month and my ex is seeking a spousal maintenance and she is still 29.

It is difficult to attain spousal maintenance these days. A party must prove they will suffer financial hardship if spousal maintenance is not granted. This takes into account things like settlements, capacity to work and the like.
